Campy Only Reader on the Alpe d'Huez

You don't need to be a pro racer to climb the Alpe d'Huez, but having a Campy drivetrain helps! Here's a photo of reader Henrik S, who ascended the Alpe on July 28th during a summer trip to France.  He writes,

Hello Eric

I took my 8 speed bike to the French alpes this summer. The picture is from 28. July and there is about 1 km to go in 39/26 on the Alpe De Huez.

8 speed was not the trouble, I just have to do more KMs next time or maybe get me a compact chainset.

The chainset used on the picture is a 10 speed Record Carbon ultra torque, it works fine with 8 speed without any mods.
