Campagnolo Sold??

Rumors are flying that Campagnolo (a privately held company) has been sold. No word on who the buyer is (if the sale has in fact taken place), but one web site quoted a Shimano spokesman as saying that they were not involved.

    According to Lorenzo Taxis, Campagnolo's Director of Communications and Marketing:

    "Apparentlly summer temperatures brings silly gossip! Campagnolo does not know who has the time to circulate crazy rumors; instead we prefer, as usual, not to waste time and concentrate on business. Campagnolo is not for sale! Have a nice summer period and see you in September.
