... Comes around, reborn by a new manufacturer. This time, bike maker Electra has brought back the famous Campagnolo "Sheriff's Star" hubs under their own brand (and updated with ceramic bearings). Sorry, fixie/track riders--they're set up with a freehub.

I have said for years that Campy should continue to offer a Retro-group. They should still have the tooling. They'd sell quite a few of them and the profit margin would actually be quite good. They could even make them a limited edition and limited distribution through select dealers
The CampyOnlyGuy is Eric Norris, a Davis, CA-based cyclist specializing in long distance riding and randonneuring. Eric has been on the web since the early days, launching Campy Only in 1995.
Sadly, Electra perpetrates by offering this in a Shimano/SRAM cassette body. They have completely missed the forest for the trees.
