Today's Bike: 2003 Kinesis

Reader Eric van de P of the Netherlands sent this description of today's bike:

In the picture you see my 2003 Kinesis bike; 54 cm 7005 alu frame, Kinesis carbon 1" front fork, 2005 Campagnolo Record UD 10-speed triple component group including hubs, FIR alu aero rims, ITM Millennium 7075 ergal handlebars & stem & seatpost, Selle Italia Flite leather saddle, LOOK Keo carbon pedals, Elite alu bidon cages, Sigma BC1009 computer and Michelin Lithion rubber.

The bike looks fairly new because I treated it to a recent and major overhaul; the frame has also been resprayed. Before, it was a plain aluminium affair. Now, at least no-one will accidentally mistake this bike for their bike, seeing it has got my name on it ;-) .

It's a great little bike, well-balanced and esthaetically pleasing to look at but first and foremost a treat to ride, time and again; and very light @ just over 7 kg.

All the best,

Eric van de P
