Campagnolo Announces 2012 Wheel Lineup

The new lineup includes a new nameplate--"Bullet"--that will offer both tubular and clincher options and a special cyclocross version. The new wheels also offer rims with alloy braking surfaces (see photo below).

  1. Well, if my Campy hubs from the '70s and '80s ever wear out (OK, and a couple from the '90s), I'll think about it.

  2. Campy needs to update their aero rim profiles. Competition is getting heavy, and there's a big movement toward wider rims and more complex rim cross-sections. I'd also like to see Campy bring out a follow-up to the Bora that is a full CF clincher or tubeless. The tubular market is likely to decline, especially given the increased performance and near parity (actual parity in some cases) between tubes, clinchers, and tubeless.
